The climate conference (COP 21) of the United Nations in Paris is behind us. It is of vital importance to develop new plans to diminish CO2 emissions and further reduce global warming. As I write this blog, the framework for the climate accord has been completed. Thus far, it has been decided that global temperatures must not exceed a 2 degree celcius increase in the coming years. However, one of the positive results of the climate conference is that there is a plea for a 1,5 degree limit, and possibly even less. The draft of the agreement opens the door to the ministers for a lower boundary. The precise details of this agreement will be apparent soon.
